Dear balladers,
Can anyone tell me the purpose of the small window in the kitchen with connection to the starboard locker?
I'm thinking about putting a box in the locker to use the window as a small extra storage for the kitchen. But, I don't know if there was any other objectif with this small window
Many thanks,
Miguel

I´m not sure but as far as I know its for the trashcan.
We´ve mounted a bucket in the starboard locker right under that window and use it as a trashcan. So the cabin stays clean:-)

Yes -- it is where the galley trash can was mounted, originally. You can see the bin next to the diesel fill hose in this drawing:

Handy, but like you we are looking for more galley stowage and may build some into that bulkhead. :) Probably a spice rack.

Dear balladers,

For the trash I use a bag hanged around the vertical cover under the drawer and it's very pratical.
I think I'm going to enlarge the storing area with this window.

Many thanks for your replys,

Miguel
