Has anybody had to remove and inspect the stem plate for corrosion? Mine Ballad 1973 has two long bolts welded to a plate on stem that pass thru about 9 inches of fiberglass and into an upper plate where the forward stay attaches. Two nuts are holding the upper plate in place. I cannot see anything ...
