BALLAD Main Regatta Event 2013

Hi all,
a happy new year - still young enough to all Ballad friends!

3 years ago we started in Germany to get at least for one regatta a year a stronger fleet together than it is usual today.
Therefore we started to define a 'Main Event' for the following season, that owners - not focused on racing in the 1st degree - can focus on only one date and can start arrange crew, holidays and transport etc.
For Germany it was quite successful with 3 years in a row a ONE DESIGN Group at the Kieler Woche Welcome Race - 2 races with medium distances.
In 2013 9 (!!) Ballads met at the starting line (and at the pub & party thereafter).

Once more the German Ballad Club would like to invite all Ballads to take part in the "Welcome-Race" of the Kieler Woche on the weekend 22nd and 23rd of June 2013. It is a distance race from Kiel to Eckernförde and from Eckernförde to Kiel on the next day. We enjoyed the races and a special party in Eckernförde very much and would like to meet You this year.

The Online registration for Albin Ballad Class is available NOW via the Links below. We have received the links from the Kieler Woche Race Management in advance. The official entry for all Kieler Woche participants will be availabe from mid February.

Dear all,
in the 4th consecutive year the Ballad fleet has fulfilled the precondition at the
Kieler Woche Welcome Race 2013 to start as ONE DESIGN Group.
The figure of 6 Ballads has been reached with 2 german Ballads, which are not able to join this year.

And there is still time to join the fleet.
At the moment it's more like a German Championship and we would appreciate any international challenger!

Until Sunday, June 2nd 2013 you will enjoy a reduced entry fee of 60 EUR.
(After June, 2nd the entry fee will be 90 EUR. )

Get your boats ready and join the biggest Ballad fleet in ONE DESIGN RACING in the Baltic area!
A warm welcome is guaranteed!

Dear all - specially danish or swedish Ballad sailors,
there are still 16 days left to the line! Registering is still possible!

We have 7 Ballads in and registered! and we will again be scored as One-Design-Class. Fulfilling the requirement of more than 5 registered Ballads in the 4 consecutive year.

We won't give up the idea of having someday an international fleet at the line.
All Ballads are invited to join !
