The Ballad Exchange

I've just added a small inflatable with 2.6 hp outboard motor to Pagan to replace my old dinghy.
Looking for ways to hoist the 17Kg motor in and out of the boat, I came across Swing Lift, and wonder if I could use my Ballad transom-mounted boarding ladder to do the same thing.
Has anyone on the forum used their ladder as a 'crane' (a la "swing-lift") on their Ballad?
As usual, all suggestions are welcome

I looked at this idea. but decided to use the boom. Toping lift attached and the main Halyard as well for double security - then detached the traveler block and use that to hoist our 35kg outboard.
