Howdy friends so after a little bit of work and a lot of fiberglassing I think I have fixed. I’m still not 100% sure I I think it was oil canning that caused the problem. Hi there peter, it’s a 1978 not sure witch hull number exactly. A failed mast step was what I originally thought but the effected areas are so far from the keel. Hay man I remember seeing your Vega online years ago when I Was trying to figure out how to build a set for myself.
Have you had any luck with some legs for your Ballad? I also love the idea of being able to dry out from time to time.
