Thanks. Yeah that's my plan of attack, and its a Volvo MD7a from the late 70's, I'm sure its not self bleeding, nothing's easy with her.

We first noticed some diesel in the bilge, We removed the engine cover and sure enough there was a steady stream coming from the front of the pump housing... a $550 bill btw :o ... A leak in the valve area of the head... gnarly. 1977 #1206
When pumping the head I have noticed a small spray right at the valve location at the "pump wet - pump dry" switch or lever. I'm assuming that it is a gasket repair at most...? Does anyone know the manufacturer of the heads? Has anyone done this repair?
