Cockpit tent for sale *SOLD*

Hi All, We have a cockpit tent in off-white for sale. It's the model from Vega Marin, quite easy to fold down and stow around the back of the cockpit. Very good shape, only used when on holiday and inbetween folded down. Used it for three seasons and then have had it stored at home. Including bars. ...

Re: Mast step truss, inevitably:(

Thanks for the replies :) . I believe what looks like rust-swell and leaching is just plain dirt ;) I'll clean it up and take new pictures. Still I want to check the wishbone beam in some way. Maybe I can remove the bolts that secure the truss to the beam and check inside the holes? Maybe knock with...

Re: Mast step truss, inevitably:(

Purchased a endoscope USB camera and drilled some holes but found it hard understanding what I was looking at :) So I drilled some larger holes where I could get two fingers down and touch the truss. It feels completely solid an...

Re: Galley removal

Thanks for the reply and pictures, very nice galley Peter :)

On Sanlen the bulkhead is also divided in two but the upper part is in grp and integrated with the inner liner as you can see in this picture.

Re: Galley removal

I took the hammer and smashed the pieces apart since I decided to rebuild it. Now it is gone but I still can use the pieces to cut out new plywood. The solid mahogany parts survived. :D

Galley removal

The restoration of Sanlen continues after a tough 2015. All interior parts have been stripped down and new plywood is cut out. The only part remaining is the galley module (icebox and sink) that I was unable to remove last year. I don't want to destroy it completely on removal but soon this seems to...

Re: Mast step truss, inevitably:(

Impressive work Bob! I believe your solution can become "standard" and copied by all Ballad owners that have a defective truss. I will definitely buy one of those USB-cameras and get a closer look at Sanlen s truss. Hopefully it isn't that bad but if it is, I will use your solution for sur...

Re: Cockpit bulkhead

Yep, the Contest 101. I've had the predecessor Contest 100 on another boat and found the possibility to read the compass from inside very helpful. Compensators are sold separate, they cost around 40$ here in Sweden.
